Preschool Announcements Nursery RhymesWe will start the New Year off with a review of the nursery rhymes we learned from the beginning of school until our winter break. Some rhymes were Little Miss Muffet, as this picture shows one of the children acting it out, Mary had a little lamb, Itsy, Bitsy Spider, and Humpty Dumpty. In a couple of weeks we will begin to learn some new rhymes such as Open-Shut Them, Jack & Jill, Hickory Dickory Dock, and Old Mother Hubbard. Remember to sing these nursery rhymes with your child over and over, using the props your child made to go with the rhymes. Also, we provide the words to the rhymes, in English and Spanish, in our weekly newsletter for easy reference.
